Life

Well here is an update for those few that read my blog. We have been very busy this summer. No time for leaving the state for a family vacation. We have all been involved with the Community Theater I did props last year and did them again this year. Bryan has been leaning to run the light board so he ran the lights Kenzie ran the spot. Kayla and Maddie were in the play. Like I said a family affair. When we were not doing  the play were running 30 min away to softball games which all three girls are involved in. The play is over the last note has been sung and the curtain has been drawn and we have moved on to the next activity. This weekend is the final softball tournament we have been entered to play, and only three more games left to play it seams like my summer is coming to an end. I also stared the summer out at a new job. The next big thing is White Christmas  for the High School and following that is Christmas Carol, The Taffatas and for the Summer of 2014 the community theater is also going to do Sessuical the Musical. I cannot say my life is boring. I love my life and spending so much time with my family doing things they enjoy and watching them grow.

Beauty and The Beast

Maddie and Belle were great friends Maddie held all of her flowers while Belle had her picture taken with her family and little girls who love Belle.
How many girls can you fit under Belle's dress?

This was my fall project. Kayla and Maddie were in Beauty and the Beast put on by the High School. I was
in charge of the props. It was fun it occupied a lot of my time from Sept-Nov. It was a great experience for all involved we had a great cast. There was a lot of singing and dancing.

Donna

I am going to dedicate this entry to my mother-in-law. On October 2nd we lost my mother-in-law to a heart attack. Bryan got a call around 12: 45 pm on Tuesday his Uncle Clay called him and told him his mother had passed away. She was still in bed when he came home for lunch at around 11:30 am. They live in southern Oregon so Bryan called me the girls and I were an hour away from home helping a friend. We came straight home packed and were on the road by 4:00pm. We drove all night we arrived in Central Point at around 9:00 am by that afternoon the funeral was planned. Donna's funeral was on Friday the 5th of October it was a small affair. Bryan being the only child there was not a lot of family Great Uncle Dick and Aunt Jean their daughter Teri and Uncle Clay were the only family that was there besides us. John came and supported us. Donna was laid to rest on Saturday October 6th at the Phoenix Oregon Cemetery  It has been a shock to all of us. Everyone said she had been doing well and was going to meet with her Bishop on Wednesday for her recommend interview. She was well loved by her Relief Society. She will be missed.
Donna was cremated so we brought some pictures we found at the house.
The table we set up with more pictures.
Her final resting place. The headstone is on order.

Have to have a fun pose.
Kayla and Maddie in "Hello Dolly"

Sorry I have not updated for awhile. School got over I started working and play practice started along with
softball. All three girls played softball this spring and the whole family was involved with our Community Theater. I was the prop mistress, Bryan ran the only spot light, Kayla and Maddie sang and danced and Kenzie helped in the light booth. Basically she wore the headphones and relayed messages to the lighting guru.  We all had a great time.
Summer was soon over we only had a month after Dolly to get ready for school. School started on August 22nd. They have been running ever sense. Kayla tried out for the high school fall musical Which is Beauty and the Beast. She did not get the part she tried out for but is still in the play as well as Maddie. Maddie tried out for the part of Chip which she decided to do the day before auditions. She also will be in the play. I am doing prop mistress for the High School production of Beauty and the Beast and will be doing props for the Community Theater this summer. I though I should be where my kids are.
I have less than a month left at my job. It is only a four month gig but it has been fun and I have learned a lot about lavender. I will be glad to run my kids around I feel bad that Bryan has been doing it but they are his children as well.
Bryan has been feeling better we think they have found the right medication for now. He gets an injection once a week and it has been helping. We will get his Rheumatoid Arthritis in remission some day but for now I will take as many pain free or level ones as we can get. Yea for injections.
